Caramel Bourbon Blondies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Grease an 8x8 pan.
  2. Mix the melted butter with brown sugar until it's relatively lump-free. Beat in the egg, then add the vanilla. Pour in the bourbon, then add the salt and flour, mixing until everything is incorporated. Mix in the caramels.
  3. Scoop the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, checking after about 20 minutes to see how they're coming along. If you stick a fork in the middle and pull it out clean, then they're good to go. Let them cool, preferably on a rack, before cutting them and stuffing your face.
