Caramel Bourbon Blondies
- 1 stick Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 Tablespoons Bourbon
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 cup Plus 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 3/4 cups Chopped Soft Caramels
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Grease an 8x8 pan.
- Mix the melted butter with brown sugar until it's relatively lump-free. Beat in the egg, then add the vanilla. Pour in the bourbon, then add the salt and flour, mixing until everything is incorporated. Mix in the caramels.
- Scoop the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, checking after about 20 minutes to see how they're coming along. If you stick a fork in the middle and pull it out clean, then they're good to go. Let them cool, preferably on a rack, before cutting them and stuffing your face.
