Pizza Meat Balls
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. diced onion
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, cut in bite-size cubes
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (12 to 15 oz.) jar pizza sauce
- 4 c. cooked rice
- In a medium bowl, mix first 6 ingredients with a fork.
- Shape mixture into 12 meat balls with a cube of cheese in the center of each.
- On waxed paper, coat each meat ball lightly with flour.
- In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, heat salad oil.
- Cook meat balls until brown on all sides.
- Spoon off fat.
- Add pizza sauce. Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve on rice.
