Classic Wedge Salad
- 1/2 whole Head Of Iceberg Lettuce, Outer Leaves Removed, Quartered.
- 4 whole Slices Of Thick Cut Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled
- 1/3 cups Crumbled Blue Cheese
- 1/2 cups Blue Cheese Dressing
- 1/2 whole Roma Tomato, Seeds Removed, Diced
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt To Taste
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper To Taste
- Begin by rinsing your lettuce with cold water. If you have a salad spinner, use it, but be gentle as you want the wedges to stay together. Once you have removed the water, place on a plate, and place in the refrigerator to get the lettuce nice and cold.
- Once you have the other ingredients ready, and trust me, this is such an easy, throw together salad . . . Get the cold wedges on a plate, drizzle generously with the dressing, place the crumbled cheese and bacon all over, and top with the tomatoes. Salt & pepper to taste.
- A great salad that can stand on its own, but it's an even better salad served with a burger or steak.
