My Grandma’S Pecan Pie
- 1 whole Un-baked 9-inch Deep Dish Pie Crust
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 3 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Pecans, Roughly Chopped
- 1. Preheat oven to 450u0b0F. Place pie dough in a greased pie dish, building up the edges and crimping the dough around the rim. Set aside.
- 2. Cream butter and sugars together in a large bowl.
- 3. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- 4. Add corn syrup and vanilla. Fold in pecans.
- 5. Pour pecan filling into prepared pie crust. Place pie dish onto a rimmed sheet pan, then bake at 450u0b0F for ten minutes. Lower the heat to 350u0b0F and bake for about thirty more minutes, or until the filling is set. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Allow pie to cool completely, about 30 minutes. Serve.
