Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting!
- 1 box French Vanilla Cake Mix, 18 Ounce Box
- Additional Required Ingredients Specified In Mix Package (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
- 4 whole Ripe Banannas, Mashed
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 package Cream Cheese At Room Temperature, 8 Ounce Package
- 1 cube Butter At Room Temperature
- 1 pound Confectioners Sugar (Sifted)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 cups Chopped Pecans
- 20 whole Pecans
- Make your cake as directed on the package, adding the additional required ingredients specified in mix package (typically water, eggs and oil) as well as the bananas and cinnamon to the cake mixture. Pour into 2 round cake pans and bake as directed. Cool completely before frosting.
- In a bowl blend the cream cheese and butter and then gradually add the confectioner's sugar and beat till light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla.
- Frost the top of the first layer and sprinkle on the chopped pecans. Add the second layer and continue frosting the cake until entire cake is covered.
- Carefully place the whole pecan pieces around the top edges of the cake.
