Cocoa And Cream Cake
- FOR THE BATTER:
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cups Cocoa Powder, Natural Not Dutch Process
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/3 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Water

- FOR THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE:
- 8 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat an 9 x 13" baking pan with cooking spray.
- Prepare the batter. Whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Pour oil, vinegar, vanilla and water into dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Spread the batter in prepared pan.
- In another mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in egg and mix completely. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over batter. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let cake cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before cutting.
