Easy Danish Pastry
- 1 whole Puff Pastry Sheet (2 Come In The 14-17 Ounce Package)
- 1 whole Egg White, Whisked
- 1 block (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 5 drops (1 Splash) Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cups Fresh Blueberries
- 1/2 cups Fresh Strawberries
- 1/2 cups Slivered Almonds
- Other Toppings You Desire
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 F (176 C.) Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 6 even pieces.
- 2. Space the pastry pieces out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg white.
- 3. Put the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a bowl and cream together using a rubber scraper.
- 4. Put about 1.5 Tablespoons of cream cheese mixture onto each pastry square and spread out, leaving a half-inch border around the edge.
- 5. Top with chosen fruit, nuts or seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are puffed and golden brown.
