Easy Danish Pastry

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 F (176 C.) Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 6 even pieces.
  2. 2. Space the pastry pieces out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg white.
  3. 3. Put the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a bowl and cream together using a rubber scraper.
  4. 4. Put about 1.5 Tablespoons of cream cheese mixture onto each pastry square and spread out, leaving a half-inch border around the edge.
  5. 5. Top with chosen fruit, nuts or seeds.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are puffed and golden brown.
