Milky Way Mini Monkey Bread Muffins
- 3 cans Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits, 7.5 Ounce Cans
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 18 pieces Bite Sized Milky Way Candies, Unwrapped
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line two 12-count standard size muffin pans with paper liners (recipe actually makes 18) and set aside.
- In a small saucepan combine brown sugar and butter. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves stirring often. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl or a zip top bag, combine sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Separate biscuits. Using kitchen shears, cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll each quarter a ball. Put biscuit balls into the bag and toss to coat them in the sugar mixture.
- Spread a teaspoon of butter mixture over the bottom of each liner. Top with 3 rolls of dough. Press a piece of chocolate into the center and top with 3 more balls of dough. Pinch the top together so that the chocolate is covered. Spoon remaining butter over each mini monkey bread muffin.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
- Makes 18 muffins.
