Fig And Goat Cheese Tart
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil For Tart Pan
- 1-1/2 cup Blanched Almond Flour
- 1-1/2 Tablespoon Raw Honey
- 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 8 ounces, weight Chevre Goat Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Raw Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 pound Fresh Figs
- 2 sprigs Fresh Thyme To Garnish (optional)
- 1. Lightly spray or grease a 7" tart pan with 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
- 2. Combine blanched almond flour, 1.5 tablespoons of raw honey and sea salt in a medium bowl and mix together to form the crust dough.
- 3. Press crust mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the pan.
- 4. In a separate bowl, combine goat cheese, 1 tablespoon raw honey, and lemon juice, mixing until smooth.
- 5. Spoon mixture into the crust and smooth it out evenly.
- 6. Wash and remove the stems from the figs then slice into quarters. Arrange them on top of the goat cheese layer.
- 7. Garnish with sprigs of fresh thyme.
