Clean Iced Tea
- 4 bags Tea (flavour Of Your Choice)
- 1 whole Lemon, Sliced Thin
- 5 cups Boiling Water
- 3 Tablespoons Agave Syrup
- 1. Place tea bags and half the lemon slices in a large pitcher. If your tea bags have paper label tabs, remove them prior to adding the bags to the pitcher.
- 2. Add water to the pitcher and stir. Measure in agave syrup and stir again. Steep tea for 10 minutes or longer if you like it strong.
- 3. Remove tea bags from the pitcher and place the pitcher in the refrigerator to cool completely. Once cooled, add more agave if desired.
- 4. Serve in a tall glass, over ice, with a slice of lemon.
- Try plain old black tea (Lipton or Tetley) for a classic taste. Substitute a few bags of green tea for a modern twist. Why not try berry tea for a sweet, fragrant kick? Whatever tea you have in your cupboard, give it a try!
