Mama’S Not For The Kiddies Brownies
- 3/4 cups Flour, Sifted
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 10 Tablespoons Butter
- 1-1/4 cup Sugar
- 3/4 cups Dark Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 cups Powdered Sugar
- Turn oven to 325F and let it heat up. Line the bottom of a small brownie baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a small bowl sift your flour. Then, add salt and set aside.
- In another small bowl add eggs and vanilla and set aside.
- Cut butter into small little pieces and add it to a small pot over the stove top for browning. Heat butter over medium-high heat stir constantly until butter browns (about 3-4 minutes). Then add in sugar and stir until well combined. Add in dark cocoa powder and stir until fully combined. Remove pot from stove top and allow to cool down a little.
- Slowly add in the eggs/vanilla mixture, stirring as you pour them in to keep that egg from cooking too fast. Stir until fully combined. Slowly pour in flour/salt mixture stirring until combined.
- Pour batter into parchment lined baking dish and cook for 20- 25 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sift powdered sugar over top - then serve.
- Tip: Save time and money by making your own powdered sugar. You can do this by simply putting your everyday sugar into a blender and blending until fully powdered.
