Buffalo Chips
- 2 c. margarine (1 lb.)
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. maple flavoring
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
- Melt margarine.
- Pour over sugars.
- Beat well.
- Add eggs and flavorings.
- Beat well.
- Mix flour, soda and baking powder.
- Add cereals, coconut and pecans.
- Mix well.
- Pour sugar mixture over dry ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Let sit 15 or 20 minutes.
- Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Remove promptly onto cooling rack.
- Yield:
- 6 dozen.
