White Lasagna
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
- 1 1/2 c. Gouda cheese
- 1/2 c. dry wine
- 2 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- Cook ground beef, onions, celery and garlic.
- Stir in basil, oregano, salt and dash of pepper.
- Add cream and cream cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
- Stir in wine.
- Gradually add Gouda and Cheddar cheese.
- Stir until melted.
