Roasted Banana Bread
- 2 Medium Very Ripe Bananas
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Buttermilk
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Cloves
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Pure Cane Sugar
- 1-1/2 cup White All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- Place bananas on a cookie sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes. Let cool and remove peel. Place in a small bowl and mash with a fork.
- Grease bread pan with olive oil spray.
- Heat butter in a small sauce pan over medium-high heat until brown and fragrant.
- In your stand mixer, add browned butter, buttermilk, vanilla, spices, salt, and mashed bananas.
- Whisk egg and sugar and add to slowly into mixer.
- Sift the flour and baking soda and add to the mixer 1/4 cup at a time until well combined.
- Pour into bread pan and bake at 350u0b0F for 45 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and come out clean. Enjoy!
