Rich & Meaty Chili
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/2 cups Onion, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 can (15 Oz.) Kidney Beans
- 2 cans 15 Oz. Chili With Beans
- 1 can 15 Oz. Chili No Beans
- 4 cups Diced Tomatoes With Green Chilies (or Chili Ready Tomatoes) I Usually Use A Mix Of Both
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 leaf Bay Leaf
- 1-1/2 cup Water
- 1/8 teaspoons Tabasco Sauce (I Usually Put Several Dashes Rather Than Measuring)
- Brown ground beef with onion; drain grease. Place in a Dutch oven, or other large stockpot. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Keep the pot uncovered and reduce heat and simmer for 50 minutes. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes longer. Remove bay leaf and serve.
