Halloween Funfetti With Vanilla Frosting
- FOR THE CAKE:
- 2-1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 12 Tablespoons Butter
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 whole Egg Whites
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoons Almond Extract
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 Tablespoons Sprinkles Plus Extra For Sprinkling On The Frosting

- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 1 stick Butter
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/8 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Add butter and sugar to another bowl and beat until creamy. Add eggs and egg whites one at a time, beating on low. Add extracts, beat another minute. To the creamed mixture, alternate adding the dry ingredients and the 1 cup milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir in the sprinkles. Pour the batter into a greased and floured sheet pan.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool on wire racks.
- Beat one stick of butter until creamy. Add 4 cups powdered sugar, 1/8 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat a few more minutes. For stiffer frosting, add more powdered sugar. For thinner frosting, add more milk. Once the cake is cool frost it and top with more sprinkles.
