Lemon Berry Trifle
- 1-1/2 cup Boiling Water
- 1 package Lemon Flavored Jello (gelatin) 3oz
- 1 tub (8 Oz.) Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- 2 whole Store Bought Pound Cakes
- 1 pint Heavy Whippping Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Or Almond Extract
- 1 pint Strawberries, Sliced
- 1 pint Blueberries
- 1 pint Raspberries
- 1.Prepare mousse by adding boiling water to Jello gelatin mix; stir 2 minutes until dissolved. Whisk in Cool Whip until blended. Refrigerate until firm. Cut cakes into 1 inch cubes.
- 2. Whip heavy cream adding sugar and extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside in fridge.
- 3.After mousse is set; in large glass bowl add a layer of cubed cake. Spoon mousse in different spots then add a layer of mixed berries. Add spoonfulls of whipped cream. Then repeat all steps/layers.
