Walla Walla Asparagus
- 3 cans asparagus, drained and liquid discarded
- 1 pkg. (8 slices) Swiss cheese
- 1 pkg. (8 slices) sharp cheese (I like English sharp)
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can whole or sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 doz. hard-boiled eggs
- 1 small bottle pimento-stuffed green olives
- soda crackers, crumbled fairly fine
- Slice eggs and olives.
- Assemble in layers in an ovenproof casserole dish in this order:
- Thin layer soda cracker crumbs, asparagus, sliced eggs to cover asparagus, layer of one type of cheese, olives, 1/2 of one can of mushroom soup spread over layer, thin layer of soda cracker crumbs, mushrooms, asparagus, sliced eggs, layer of second type of cheese, olives, layer of soda cracker crumbs and top with soup to cover thoroughly.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for one hour, uncovered.
