Corn Relish

  1. Combine celery, both peppers and onions.
  2. Add vinegar, sugar, 2 cups water, celery seed and salt.
  3. Bring this mixture to a boil and simmer 5 to 6 minutes.
  4. Blend flour, dry mustard and turmeric in 1/2 cup cool water.
  5. Add this mixture and corn to the batch.
  6. Cook, with stirring, for 5 minutes.
  7. Pack into hot half-pint jars.
  8. Close and process for 20 minutes in boiling water.
  9. Cool and store in cool place.
