Chocolate Truffles With A Kick

  1. 1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until well blended.
  2. 2. Add melted chocolate, vanilla, and Bailey's, then mix well (add a little more powdered sugar if it seems too runny).
  3. 3. Refrigerate mixture about 1 hour.
  4. 4. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls, rolling with your hands. Place each on parchment paper or wax paper.
  5. 5. In a food processor, chop Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and pour into a pie plate.
  6. 6. Roll each truffle in the Oreo crumbs to coat.
  7. 7. Melt the white chocolate/almond bark. Dip the tines of a fork in the white chocolate, and drizzle across the truffles.
  8. 8. Store truffles in the refrigerator. Makes about 5 dozen.
  9. For our truffles, we decided to split the recipe in half. We made half a batch with Bailey's, and the other half with Kahlua-just for some variety!
