Sirloin With New Orleans Butter Sauce
- 1 boneless sirloin steak (1 1/2 lb.)
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Dry the meat
- with
- a paper towel.
- Spread 1 tablespoon butter on both sides.
- Place in dish.
- Microwave on High for 1 minute. Turn meat over.
- Microwave
- on
- High
- 1
- to 2 minutes longer depending
- on doneness desired (3 minutes for rare or 6 minutes for
- well done).
- Remove meat onto cutting board.
- Add remaining butter,
- lemon juice, parsley and Worcestershire to the pan, stirring.
- Microwave
- at High for 1 minute.
- Stir up juices from the dish.
- Pour over steak.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Cut into thin slices to serve.
- Makes 4 servings.
