Milky Way Brownies
- FOR THE BROWNIE LAYER:
- 1-1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 cups Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder
- 3 whole Eggs
- 3/4 cups Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 bag (11.5oz Bag) Milky Way Mini Candy Bars, Unwrapped And Chopped
- FOR THE MOUSSE LAYER:
- 3/4 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate
- 3 whole Eggs
- 1/3 cups Granulated Sugar
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate, Melted
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare a 9-inch springform pan by spraying the bottom only with Bakers Joy baking spray. Set aside.
- Mix all of the brownie ingredients (except the Milky Way bars) together in medium sized bowl. Pour into the bottom of the pan. Top with chopped Milky Way candies evenly spreading them over the top of the brownie batter. Set aside.
- In small saucepan, heat heavy cream on low heat until warm. Whisk in 1 cup milk chocolate until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl use a mixer to beat eggs with sugar until foamy. Add in the cooled chocolate cream mixture and mix to combine. Pour this evenly over the candy bar layer.
- Bake in a 350 F oven for one hour. Remove from oven and spread remaining cup of melted chocolate over the top of the brownies. Cool completely (one hour or more) and then cut and remove brownies from the pan (you may need to run a knife around the edges). We enjoyed these cold after refrigerating them overnight!
