Chocolate Witches Hats
- 1 Tablespoon Shortening
- 6 ounces, weight Chocolate
- 6 whole Waffle Ice Cream Cones
- 6 whole Chocolate Cookies (use Ones That Have A Diameter Larger Than The Cones)
- Orange Icing Gel And Orange Sprinkles, As Needed
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt shortening. Add chocolate and heat until melted. Remove from heat.
- Working quickly while the chocolate is melted, brush the cones with the melted chocolate until they are completely covered. Add a dab of the melted chocolate to the opening of the cone and carefully secure it onto a cookie.
- Using your icing gel, pipe color around the base of the cone. Add sprinkles. Put it onto a plate or baking sheet, cookie side down. Repeat with the remaining cones and cookies.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes or until cones have set. Use as party decor or enjoy!
