No Cholesterol Pound Cake
- 2 1/2 sticks Fleischmann's corn oil margarine (1 1/2 c., room temperature)
- 3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour (plain)
- 1 c. skim milk
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. Egg Beaters
- 1 tsp. flavoring (almond, lemon or vanilla)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Lightly grease and flour tube or Bundt pan.
- Mix margarine, sugar, Egg Beaters and flavoring in large bowl.
- Mix 1 minute on low speed, then 5 minutes on high speed, scraping bowl several times.
- Mix flour and baking powder together.
- While beating at low speed, mix flour and milk alternately into sugar mixture, scraping sides of bowl frequently. Pour in pan and bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes (check with straw for doneness after 1 hour).
- Cool in pan 25 minutes; remove to plate.
