Veal Or Chicken Pot Pie
- 1 1/2 lb. cooked veal or chicken, cut into rather small pieces
- 4 onions
- 3 stalks, celery
- 4 carrots, quartered
- 3 potatoes, quartered
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 2 cloves
- 1 bay leaf, crushed
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of garlic salt
- 6 c. gravy
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 chicken or beef bouillon cubes
- pastry or biscuit crust
- Peel potatoes and onions.
- Cut celery into desired size and chop parsley.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add to gravy.
- Combine all ingredients and bake in a covered casserole for 1 hour in a moderate 350u0b0 oven.
- Remove from oven and cover with pastry or biscuit crust.
- Bake in a hot oven at 450u0b0 until browned.
- Serves 4.
