Stephie’S Monster Cookies!

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Stack 2 baking sheets, one on top of the other. Line the top baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange oven to 3rd shelf position.
  3. In mixer:
  4. Cream butter with both sugars until well blended. Add vanilla, eggs, and egg yolk. Mix.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt together.
  6. Fold the dry mixture in with the butter mixture. Batter will be thick. Now FOLD in chocolate chips, chopped chocolate and M & M's. IT WON'T BE EASY, but continue to fold together until mixed.
  7. (If batter is too soft and greasy add 2-4 tablespoons of flour. I don't usually have to do this.)
  8. Scoop out 7-8 ounces or 1 FULL CUP of dough! You can bake only 2 per baking sheet. They spread, so don't put them close together.
  9. Bake for 20-24 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center to make sure it's done. Don't overcook.
  10. Remove from oven and let cook ON BAKING SHEET for 15-20 minutes!
  11. Now, didn't I tell you you could stop after only 1 cookie!?
