Salmon Hot Dish

  1. In medium saucepan, combine carrots, celery, onions, water and salt.
  2. Bring to boil, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain liquid into 2 cup measure.
  3. Place vegetables in serving dish.
  4. Cover to keep warm.
  5. Using saucepan, melt margarine and blend in flour.
  6. Use salmon liquid and vegetable liquid and enough milk to make 2 cups.
  7. Stir into flour mixture.
  8. Cook over medium heat.
  9. Add cheese and Worcestershire sauce until thickened.
  10. Pour over vegetables and salmon.
  11. Serve over baking powder biscuits or mashed potatoes.
