Pretzel Crust Strawberry Pie
- 1 cup Crushed Pretzels
- 1 cup Crushed Vanilla Wafer Cookies
- 1/3 cups Melted Butter
- 2 pints Strawberries
- 1-1/4 cup Sugar
- 2-1/2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1-1/2 cup Water
- 1 box (3 Oz. Size) Strawberry Gelatin (Jello)
- Whipped Topping, For Decoration
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- Prepare pie crust by mixing pretzels and vanilla wafers with melted butter. Press into a pie pan. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes and allow to cool.
- Cut the stems off strawberries and place stem side down on the cooled pie crust.
- In a small pot, stir sugar and cornstarch. Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat, add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
- Pour mixture over strawberries. Refrigerate until set. Decorate with whipped topping.
