Mixed Fruit Crisp
- 4 cups Chunks Or Slices Of Fruit, Peeled If Desired (Peaches, Nectarines, Berries And Apples Work Well)
- 1/4 cups Granulated White Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 cups Light Brown Sugar, Lightly Packed
- 3/4 cups Dry Oatmeal, Old-Fashioned Or Quick-Cooking
- 3/4 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cups Butter
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- Mix together fruits, granulated sugar and cornstarch in a medium bowl. Spread fruit mixture in greased 8" x 8" baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix in vanilla and butter, mixing with a fork or fingertips until mixture is combined and crumbly. Spread topping evenly, without pressing down, over top of fruit.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until bubbly and top is browned. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or frozen yogurt.
