Oatmeal-Chocolate-Raisin-Nut Cookies
- 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
- 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- Add combined flour, baking soda and mix well.
- Stir in oats, chocolate, raisins and nuts; mix well.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool one minute on cookie sheet.
- Makes about 4 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
