Healthy Peach Crisp
- 8 whole Medium Peaches, Pitted And Sliced
- 1/3 cups Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 cup Old Fashion Or Quick Cooking Oats
- 1/2 cups Walnuts (Almonds Would Work Too!)
- 6 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cups Pure Maple Syrup (not Mrs. Butterworths)
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Mix together the peaches, honey, 1 tablespoon of flour and vanilla bean paste in a medium pie plate. Set aside.
- Into the bowl of a food processor put 1 cup of whole wheat flour, oats, nuts, butter and maple syrup. Pulse until mixture comes together ... almost like cookie dough.
- Crumble the mixture on top of your fruit. Place in a 350 F oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. You know it is done when the crisp top is golden brown and the fruit juices are bubbling.
