Molten Lava Cakes
- 4 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Baking Chocolate
- 1/2 cups Butter Or Margarine, Melted
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 6 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Butter For Baking Dishes
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F. Butter four 3/4 cup custard or souffle dishes. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwaveable bowl on high for 1 minute, or until the butter is melted. Stir with a wire whisk until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in powdered sugar until well blended. Blend in eggs and egg yolks with a wire whisk. Stir in flour.
- Divide batter among prepared custard cups.
- Bake 13 to 14 minutes or until sides are firm but centers are soft. Then remove them from the oven and let them stand for 1 minute. Carefully run a small knife around the cakes to loosen them, then invert cakes onto dessert dishes.
- Serve immediately, top with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
