Monkey-Favorite Banana Pudding

  1. In a large bowl, mix condensed milk and ice cold water, preferably using a mixer on medium speed. Add the vanilla pudding mix until fully incorporated.
  2. Cover it and let it cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Please allow this time for it to set properly.
  3. Remove the set pudding from the fridge. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the whipped cream, until color is uniform, with no yellow streaks.
  5. To assemble, use a large (preferably glass) bowl or other tall container. Divide the bananas, Nilla wafers and pudding mixture in 3, and assemble 3 layers in this order: Nilla wafers, banana, then pudding. Repeat. Garnish with crumbled Nilla wafers on top!
  6. You may also assemble individual portions. This looks great in mason jars (wonderful for a picnic or housewarming present!), wine glasses or sundae tumblers.
  7. Take it to the fridge for another 6 hours or overnight. The longer it stays in the fridge, the more pronounced the banana flavor!
