Apple Taffy Pizza
- 1 package Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough
- 1/4 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 8 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 whole Granny Smith Apples
- 1 cup Lemon-lime Soda
- 2 dashes Cinnamon
- 1/4 cups Caramel Ice Cream Topping
- 1/2 cups Chopped Nuts (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Roll dough out onto a 14-inch circle. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cookie is lightly brown. Let cool for 10 minutes, then loosen cookie from pan using a knife. Cool completely.
- Blend peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Spread onto cooled cookie.
- Peel, core, and slice apples. Dip apples in lemon lime soda to prevent browning. Arrange apples on cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon. Heat caramel topping slightly and drizzle over apples. Sprinkle nuts if you want.
