Chilled Or Hot Peach Green Tea
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 whole Peach, Fresh Or Frozen
- 2 packages (Single-serving Bag) Green Tea
- 1/4 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Honey, Or To Taste (Or Use Sugar Or A Sugar Substitute)
- 1 cup Ice Cubes
- Heat the small pot with the water over medium heat. As soon as the water starts to boil, reduce heat to its lowest setting.
- Add chopped peaches and green tea and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes for a light green tea flavor, or longer for tea stronger flavor.
- Add lemon juice and increase the heat to high. Bring to a boil and switch off the heat.
- Now add honey while the tea is still hot. Remove the tea bags and pour the tea mixture into a hand blender jar. Blend for 30 seconds till the peaches are all dissolved. (At this point, pour in cups if serving hot.)
- Pour the mixture in a jug, add ice cubes and refrigerate for 1 hour and serve chilled.
