Gala Sour Cream Dip
- 2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
- 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. round rye bread, unsliced
- assorted vegetable dippers
- bread cubes
- Combine all ingredients for dip in small mixing bowl.
- Cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours to allow flavors to blend.
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Cut a thin slice from top of bread. Carefully hollow out center of bread, leaving a 1-inch shell on sides and bottom.
- Cut inside pieces into 1-inch cubes.
- Place bread shell and cubes on baking sheet.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until toasted.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
