Nutella And M&M’S Bird’S Nest
- 1 cup Butter Or Margarine, Softened
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs, Yolks And Whites Divided
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1-1/2 cup Pecans Or Walnuts, Finely Chopped
- 3/4 cups Nutella
- 1 package (12 Oz Size) Mini M&M Candies
- Preheat oven to 350 F. I line my baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix to combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Work in flour and salt until dough holds together. Shape dough using a teaspoon into 1 inch balls.
- In a separate bowl beat the egg white. Put the chopped nuts in another bowl. Dip balls into the egg white and then roll in your finely chopped nuts.
- Place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet and press your thumb deeply into the center of each.
- Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove from baking sheet and allow them to cool.
- Once completely cooled, add the Nutella and M&M's. Spoon 1 teaspoon of Nutella into the hole in the top of each cookie. Sprinkle M&M's on top of the Nutella.
