Chocolate Chunk-Walnut Cookies
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 cups Butter, Softened
- 1 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 whole Egg Yolk
- 11-1/2 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks
- 1 cup Walnut Halves, Toasted
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Combine butter, sugars, egg, and egg yolk in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture, until well blended. Stir in chocolate chunks and walnuts.
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 325u0b0F for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool cookies slightly on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
