Walnut Crisps Cookies
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large egg
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1 1/4 c. whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 6 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. date sugar
- 1/4 c. currants
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- pink or red colored sugar
- Heat oven to 325u0b0.
- In medium size bowl, with electric beater, beat butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Beat in flour.
- Refrigerate dough, tightly wrapped, at least 1 hour.
