Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large soup pot. Add garlic and fry for a minute. Add chicken and fry until chicken is slightly golden (it's already been cooked, you just want to brown it a bit). Add onion and fry 2 minutes. Add carrot, peas, red pepper, cabbage and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add cumin, ground pepper, turmeric and chili powder. Mix well. Then add chicken broth and bring to boil, add noodles, soy sauce, water. Bring to boil. Cook 5 minutes. Add spinach, jalapeno, tomato, lemon juice and ginger paste. Mix well. Garnish with cilantro and green onion. And you are ready to serve.
