Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, vanilla extract and 1 cup of sugar until blended. In a 9x13 cake pan, unroll 1 package of crescent roll dough into a sheet that covers the bottom of the pan. Spoon and smooth cream cheese mixture over the dough, then unroll the second sheet of dough to cover the top.
  2. Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon (you can use between 2-3 tablespoons, I like more to cut the sweetness a little) together. Pour melted butter evenly over top, then sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture all over. Bake for 30 minutes and refrigerate until cool, then cut into squares before serving.
