Chocolate Chip And M&M Cookies
- 1-1/3 cup All Purpose (plain) Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cups Your Favorite Kind Of Chocolate Chips!
- 1/2 cups M&Ms
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Have 2 ungreased pans ready.
- Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt onto a sheet of waxed paper (set that aside).
- Using an electric mixer on high speed, cream the butter (in a large bowl) until it's fluffy and has a pale yellow color. Add both of the sugars and keep on beating until the mixture is not gritty when rubbed between your thumb and finger. On low speed, add the egg and vanilla and beat until it's blended. Stop the mixer occasionally, and with a rubber spatula, scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix it on low speed or stir with a wooden spoon until fully blended. Add the M&Ms and chocolate chips into the mixture and stir until blended.
- Shape the dough (with dampened hands) into balls that are 1 inch in size or drop by rounded tablespoons onto the baking sheets. Space the cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for about 12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool completely. Enjoy these yummy cookies!
