Open-Faced Fried Egg Sandwich
- 4 slices Prosciutto
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 2 whole Large Eggs
- 1 whole Sesame Seed Bagel, Halved
- 1 whole Avocado, Peeled And Thinly Sliced
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Hot Sauce
- 2 slices Fontina Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Finishing Salt
- Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
- 1. Using a saute pan over medium heat, add the prosciutto slices and cook for 2 minutes per side, or until golden and slightly crispy.
- 2. Using the same pan, add the butter and begin to melt. Then add the eggs and cook until desired consistency. Meanwhile, toast your bagel halves.
- 3. Placing 1 bagel half on a plate, top with 1/2 the sliced avocado and top that with 1/2 the lemon juice to prevent browning. Use a dash of your favourite hot sauce over the avocado and then place the crisp prosciutto slices over top of that. Add a slice of fontina over the prosciutto.
- 4. Add the fried egg over top and finish with finishing salt and a turn of cracked pepper. Repeat with the other bagel half.
