Orange Breakfast Bread
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cups Chopped Walnuts
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Orange Zest
- 2 cans 10-count Cans Of Refrigerated Biscuits
- 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Cut Into 20 Pieces
- 1 stick Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1. Combine the cinnamon, sugar, walnuts and orange zest in a bowl and mix well.
- 2. Separate each biscuit into two halves. Place a piece of cream cheese in the middle of the bottom half and top with the other half. Pinch edges to seal.
- 3. Dip biscuit in butter and coat in the cinnamon and nut mixture.
- 4. Stand the biscuits up with sides touching in a bundt pan.
- 5. Drizzle with the remaining butter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon mixture over the biscuits.
- 6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Invert immediately on a serving plate.
- 7. Combine the confectioner's sugar and orange juice in a bowl and mix well. Drizzle over the warm bread.
