Oyster Mushroom Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, For Pan
- 6 heads Mushroom Caps, Sliced
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 8 ounces, fluid Beef Stock
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- Drizzle olive oil in a hot pan. On medium heat, saute mushrooms until brown and tender then remove from pan and set aside.
- Saute garlic for 20 seconds then add all other ingredients. Allow to thicken.
- Add cooked mushrooms back into the sauce and warm. Ladle sauce over steak and serve.
- Tip: Prepare your steak by first seasoning with salt and pepper. Allow to get to room temperature. Searing is done by placing meat on a hot surface, be it a 600u0b0F grill or hot skillet. For medium rare, sear on both sides for 2 minutes, then close off air passages on grill or cover skillet with a lid and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes.
