Pasta With Crabmeat Fra Diavolo
- 1 1/2 c. canned Italian tomatoes
- 2 tsp. olive or vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 oz. or more drained frozen crabmeat
- 1 Tbsp. half and half
- angel hair pasta
- In 2 or 3-quart saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic and red pepper.
- Saute until onion is softened.
- Add sherry and simmer 1 minute.
- Stir in tomatoes and seasonings, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
- Add crabmeat and half and half, stir well to combine.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes.
- Serve over cooked pasta.
