Grandma’S Orange Biscuits

  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt and zest together. Drizzle melted butter on top, and slowly add milk, mixing with a fork until it begins to come together. Knead with your hands until a giant ball is formed (about 5 minutes). Break the dough ball into 7 pieces (or as many as you would like), and roll in your hands until a ball is formed. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Dip sugar cubes in the orange juice and then press one into the center of each biscuit. Brush the biscuits with some orange juice. Bake in a 425 degree F oven for 20 minutes, or until they are lightly browned on the bottom. Allow to stand for about 10 minutes. Enjoy on their own, with a bit of vegan butter, or some jam. YUM!!! Enjoy!
