Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pistachio Ice Cream
- 3/4 cups Cocoa
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/3 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 pieces (bite Size) Of Chocolate Fudges, Cut Finely (store Bought)
- 3 pieces Bite Size Brownie, Cut Up Finely (store Bought)
- 15 Pistachios, Shelled And Chopped Up Finely
- Yields 5 cups.
- Note: make sure your ice cream maker bowl/canister has been properly chilled for a day or so.
- In a bowl mix your cocoa, sugars and salt together. I used a stand mixer with whisk.
- Add the milk and mix on low speed until everything dissolves and is well mixed.
- Stir in heavy cream or whipping cream and vanilla. Mix well.
- Cover the bowl and put in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours, or you can do it overnight.
- Take the ice cream mixture and the ice cream maker bowl/canister out of the fridge/freezer.
- Transfer ice cream mixture to ice cream bowl and put the machine together.
- Turn on and mix for 15 to 20 minutes or according to manufacturer's instructions. It should thicken a lot.
- Cut up your brownies, fudge and pistachios while it mixes in the ice cream maker.
- Check your ice cream consistency. If pleased with it you can move on, if not mix for a few more minutes.
- Now add in by hand your brownie, fudge and pistachios. Stir well.
- Scoop the ice cream into bowls and consume immediately or stick in the freezer for a couple hours to harden.
- If putting it in the freezer make sure you let it stand for 10 or 15 minutes when you take it back out.
- Toss some crushed pistachios over top.
- Serve.
