Gigantic Brown Sugar And Honey Cinnamon Rolls

  1. SIZE OF BREAD MACHINE: 1 pound loaf size
  2. FOR THE DOUGH:
  3. Add the water to the bread pan of your bread maker. Add the butter, egg, flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Start the bread machine on the dough cycle (should take about 1 1/2 hours).
  4. Just before the dough is ready... Sprinkle some flour onto a large cutting board or area where you will roll the dough.
  5. Grease a 9 x 14 inch size pan and set aside.
  6. When the dough is ready... Put the dough onto the floured cutting board or area where you will roll the dough. Roll the dough into a rectangular shape. Continue rolling the dough until it is about a 12 x 16 inch rectangle.
  7. FOR THE FILLING:
  8. Brush the softened butter over the surface of the dough.
  9. Put the sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon into a small bowl and mix together. Sprinkle the sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the surface of the dough.
  10. Drizzle the honey evenly over the surface of the dough.
  11. PREPARATION:
  12. Starting with one of the short sides of the rectangle, roll up the dough tightly.
  13. When you reach the end of the roll, pinch the ends of the dough together slightly to seal the roll.
  14. Cut the roll into 6 equal pieces. Place each piece into the pan.
  15. Cover the pan with a paper towel and let it sit in a warm place so the dough will rise (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours).
  16. Just before the dough is done rising, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  17. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes until the tops of the cinnamon rolls are golden brown.
  18. FOR THE GLAZE:
  19. While the cinnamon rolls are cooking, prepare the glaze.
  20. Add the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to a medium size bowl. Mix all of the ingredients together. Mix until the glaze is smooth.
  21. As soon as the cinnamon rolls come out of the oven, remove them from the pan and put them onto a serving dish so the glaze can drizzle over the sides of the rolls.
  22. While the cinnamon rolls are still warm spread the glaze over the top and sides of each one.
