Nachos Supremos
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. beef chorizo
- 1 lb. onions, chopped
- hot pepper sauce
- 1 (30 oz.) can refried beans
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Jack cheese
- 1 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chile salsa
- 6 green onions, chopped
- Crumble beef and chorizo into a large skillet.
- Add onions and cook until meat is browned; drain and add several drops of hot pepper sauce.
- Spread beans in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Spread meat mixture on top.
- Sprinkle with green onions, chiles and cheeses. Drizzle salsa over all.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve with guacamole and sour cream.
- Garnish with black olives.
- Tuck tortilla chips around edges and serve.
- Good hot or cold.
- Serves 12.
